Michael Crichton: From Scientist to Novelist

		mark r morley writes: ANdromend strain vs. Sphre Hi, I enjoyed reading this review. The bit at the end of sphere can be taken in two ways. The first time I read it I got the impression that Beth had kept the power even though she Harry and Norman decided that humanity could not handle it. I re-read the book, though, and I thought Hmm...Michael Chrichton is trying to get across the idea that Beth has grown from the experience and has unconsciously dropped some of her general resentments and is therefore more lovely on the outside as well.
